AGREEMENT TO OUR LEGAL TERMS
We are “LEARN DRIVING WITH ROOP (“Company”, we, “us”, “our”) a company registered in Canada at 754 Mountain Ash Road, Peterborough, Ontario, K9J8K1.
We operate the website https://www.learndrivingwithroop.ca/ as well as any other related products and services that refer or link to these legal terms (“the legal terms”) ( Collectively the Services).
We are one of the best Government- approved driving schools in Ontario that can help you become a safe and responsible driver. We offer flexible, affordable, MTO-approved driver training and the highest road test passing ratio.
Our driving school’s mission is focused on the slogan “ ALERT TODAY ; ALIVE TOMORROW” , that is to provide individuals with the highest quality of driver education to help ensure our roads and highways are safe for all users.

These legal terms constitute a legal binding agreement between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity (“you”) & LEARN DRIVING WITH ROOP, concerning your access to and use of the services . You agree that by accessing the services, you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by all of these legal terms. IF YOU DONOT AGREE WITH ALL THESE LEGAL TERMS, THEN YOU ARE EXPRESSLY PROHIBITED FROM USING THE SERVICE AND YOU MUST DISCONTINUE USE IMMEDIATELY.
Supplemental terms and conditions or documents that may be posted on the services from time to time are hereby expressly incorporated herein by reference. We reserve the right , in our sole discretion, to make changes or modifications to these legal terms at any time and for any reason. We will alert you about any changes by updating the “Last Updated” date of these legal terms and you waive any right to receive specific notice of each such change. It is your responsibility to periodically review these legal terms to stay informed of updates. You will subject to, and will be deemed to have been made aware of and to have accepted , the changes in any revised Legal Terms by your continued use of Services after the date such revised Legal Terms are posted.
The services are intended for users who are at least 13 years of age. All users who are minor in the jurisdiction in which they reside (generally under the age of 18) must have permission of , and be directly supervised by, their parent or guardian to use the services. If you are a minor, you must have your parent or guardian read and agree to these Legal Terms prior to using the services.
We recommend that you print a copy of these Legal terms for your records.
1. OUR SERVICES
The information provided when using the services is not intended for distribution to or use by any person or entity in any jurisdiction or country where such distribution or use would be contrary to the law or regulation or which would subject us to any registration requirements within such jurisdiction or country. Accordingly, those people who choose to access the services from other locations do so on their own initiative and are solely responsible for compliance with local laws, if and to the extent local laws are applicable.
2. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
We are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in our services, including all the source codes, databases, functionality, software, website designs, audio, video, text, photographs and graphics in the services as well as the trademarks and logo contained therein.
3. YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICES
Subject to your compliance with these legal terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access the services solely for your personal, non-commercial use or internal business purpose.
Except as set out in this section or elsewhere in our legal terms, no parts of the services and no content or marks may be copied, reproduced, aggregated, republished, uploaded, posted, publicly displayed, encoded, translated, transmitted, distributed, sold, licensed, or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose whatsoever, without our express written permission.
Any breach of these Intellectual Property Rights will constitute a material breach of our legal terms and your right to use our services will terminated immediately.
4. POLICY FOR STUDENTS
In order to satisfy the Ministry of Transportation (MTO) requirements, the student must complete the following:
· 20 hours of online study: 70% passing grade required.
· 10 hours of in-car lessons: 70% passing grade required.
· 10 hours of take-home study/assignments.
· All aspects of the course MUST be completed within 364 days of start date to be eligible for certification.
· If the course is not completed within 364 days, student has to register again with full payment to start over.
· Upon graduation, the student will be able to sit at G2 drivers road test after 8 months from the issue date of G1 instead of 12 months . The Driver’s License History provides proof of successful completion of BDE course and is widely recognized by the insurance industry. For the proof, you can visit any Service Ontario Centre by providing your license number and there is a fee associated with it.
2. Students must have a valid Ontario Driver’s License or temporary Driver’s License (G1) and have it with them at all times during the in-car driving lesson(s).
3. All fees must be paid in full at the time of registration.
4. Cancellations of an in-car lesson must be made 24 hours in advance. Our Driving School has a $25 late cancellation fee or a $25 no-show fee to cover the costs associated with the missed in-car lesson.
5. Please refrain from using heavy scents/ perfumes during your in-car lessons as some instructors and next student may have allergies.
6. There will be no refunds for the Driver’s Education Course once the online course link has been sent to the student.
7. Our goal is to make learning to drive informative and fun for all students. As a result, any type of unwarranted disruption, disrespect towards the instructor, or bullying will not be tolerated. If an instructor recognizes any of these forms of disruption or becomes aware of teasing or inappropriate behavior, it may result in the student being removed from the in-car lessons with no refund.
8. If a student tries to attend driving lessons with an instructor under the influence of any mood or mind altering substances, instructor has the full right to not conduct the lesson and also charge missed lesson fee to the student.
9. Although Instructor would be making each and every effort to ensure no violations occur on the road, yet student holds the full accountability and payment responsibility in case of any traffic violation, fine, demerits etc. as may be assessed by a police officer or court during the in-car instruction as well as during the use of a instructor’s car for the road test.
5. PURCHASES AND PAYMENT

PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS AN EXTRA PROCESSING CHARGE ASSOCIATED WITH THE CARD PAYMENTS ONLINE AT THE CHECKOUT.
· We do not accept cash or Cheque at the moment.
Sales tax will be added to the price of purchases as deemed required by us. We may change prices at any time. All payments shall be made in Canadian Dollars. We reserve the right to refuse any errors or mistakes in pricing, even if we have already requested or received payment. We reserve the right to refuse any order placed through the services.
